Why do we love Euphoria?

An original aesthetic, a slightly trashy universe, love stories and drama about Generation Z teenagers... Euphoria caused a sensation all over the world! Plus, in the series the characters have super cool makeup, which gets people talking! Rue and Jules, or even Madeleine, Cassie or Katherine have very sharp and original styles and make-ups, made with bright colors and lots of glitter (we love it!). We find this makeup in a majority of the scenes of the series for the greatest pleasure of our eyes.

And we're not the only ones...

The series has received critical acclaim all over the world! The quality of its artistic direction and the performance of the actors in the series charmed everyone. The two main characters are particularly touching and have poignant personal stories. Rue, played by the superb transsexual actress Hunter Schafer, is a discreet and hectic young woman while Jules, played by Zendaya, is full of contradictions and struggles with her addictions. Actress Zendaya even received an Emmy Award in the “Best Actress in a Television Series Drama” category for her role. She is also the youngest actress to win an Emmy Award!

Our Makeup Euphoria Tutorial

As we really like the series and the aesthetics make us dream, we decided to offer you a special Euphoria makeup tutorial, with our friend Morgane!

To get started, here is the equipment you will need:

• Biodegradable glitter makes money
• Our Yokoumi shea glitter applicator balm
• A Si Si La Paillette brush
• Dark green eye shadow
• A lighter eyeshadow
• Rhinestones!
• Mascara (and possibly an eyelash curler)

Let's go !

Here are the steps to follow to successfully achieve your glitter makeup inspired by the Euphoria series!

Step 1 : Tape under your eyes to keep a straight line and apply a light eye shadow on the lid, then a darker shadow on the outside.

Step 2 : Apply a line of Shea Applicator Balm above the mobile eyelid with a brush

Step 3 : Cover the Shea line with Rends L’Argent biodegradable glitter . You can make a thin line or blend it with a brush going up to the eyebrow. It also works with other glitters in our collection. Prefer mixes with small and Chunky glitters for a shiny, covering effect!

Step 4 : Remove the tape, blend the line and apply a pretty mascara. You can use an eyelash curler to lengthen your eyelashes!

Step 5 : We're almost there: time for the rhinestones! You can put it on the cheeks or all over your face for a full look. Add a little glitter as a highlighter on the cheeks for a shiny effect!

It is better to use glass rhinestones, to be glued with rhinestone glue. If you use plastic rhinestones, remember to keep them after your make-up: you can reuse them for other make-ups or as a DIY to customize your creations!

So there you have it, you are ready to look like Jules and Rue like in Euphoria…!
