The most classic technique is to cut the top of a pumpkin then empty it (don't forget to keep the flesh for cooking 🍽). Then, you have to hollow it out and cut out a face before placing a candle inside to make a scary character appear 👹

The materials you need for a glitter pumpkin:

• A beautiful vegetable
• Biodegradable glitter (we released a special Halloween glitter kit 😉)
• Felt
• Strong glue
• A sheet of paper (to collect excess glitter)

Steps to follow for a spooky and brilliant Halloween decoration:

1. Choose your vegetable:

Start by selecting your vegetable. Traditionally, we use a pumpkin, but don't hesitate to opt for pumpkin, squash or any other vegetable that inspires you (even the traditional turnip carved in the British Isles long before the pumpkin 🧅🥦🥒🍅)

2. Select your glitter:

Opt for your favorite glitter. For a dazzling effect, we recommend the “ Medissco ” mix, fine black glitter with bursts of color! But you can give free rein to your imagination with other colors of course 🥰

3. Draw a face:

Using a marker, draw on the pumpkin (or vegetable) the shape of the face you want to give it. Let your creativity run wild, from mischievous smiles to scary faces 😈

4. Apply the glue:

Take some strong glue and fill in the drawn shapes carefully. Be careful not to use too much to avoid smudging.

5. Add the glitter:

Now for the fun part! 🎉 Generously sprinkle the glued areas with the glitter of your choice. To avoid losing excess glitter, place a sheet of paper under the pumpkin to easily collect it.

6. That's it, it's finished!
